Founder
Hello! I’m Michael, the founder of FenTec Consulting LLC.
My professional journey began in 1990 with a three-year apprenticeship as a cabinet maker in Germany. After refining my skills as a journeyman for five years, I pursued my Woodworking Master Craftsman’s diploma (Meisterbrief) to deepen my expertise.
In 2002, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by moving to the U.S.A., where I spent the next eleven years working for two renowned German window hardware companies.
In 2013, I took on the role of Director of R&D and Technology Transfer at Menck Windows, a European window and door manufacturing start-up in Massachusetts. There, I recognized the complexities of establishing a European product line and managing vital transatlantic business relationships. This insight led me to establish FenTec Consulting LLC in 2017, with the vision of leveraging my connections and experience to help other window manufacturers implement or expand their European window and door lines.
After relocating back to the Pacific Northwest and renovating an old home, I started receiving inquiries about where to purchase European Tilt & Turn windows locally. This prompted me to expand my company’s portfolio to include the importation of European windows.
